Summer Fundraiser 2017

We'd like to announce our Summer Fundraiser for 2017. We have a lot of exciting ideas and plans we hope to accomplish, and need your help!   Here’s a little breakdown of where your generous donations will go.

Our first priority right now is to help support our summer tour and Cleveland residency.  As our first tour, this is an important artistic and relationship-building endeavor for our organization. Donations will help cover the cost of transportation and food, and provide financial security.  We also want to further expand our Cleveland Public Library workshops.  We gave 24 workshops this year, doubled from 2016, and want to add even more workshops in the libraries or other educational facilities, supported from our own budget.  Additionally, we recently began to pay our Executive Director for his hard work, and we hope to create a second paid administrative position within the next year. In the near future, we also hope to establish an annual festival for new and improvised music, that would bring artists together in Cleveland from all over the country and the world.  Lastly, as always, increased funding will allow us to present more concerts and to commission more pieces from composers.

Your donations also help us to keep our events financially accessible, which is very important to us.  Most of our events are free and open to the public, and when we “sell” tickets it is always as a suggested donation.  Anything you can donate will help us continue and improve our accessibility.

We strive to be transparent in terms of our mission, plans, structure, and especially in this case, our budget. We openly welcome any questions, comments, thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. Thank you so much for your support, in any way!
